Not bad to have on the resume!

As they continue to record their debut album in LA with mega-producer John Feldmann and blink-182's Travis Barker, WA outfit Small Town Heroes have enlisted a few more big names to work on the LP, including Twenty One Pilots' Josh Dun and Fall Out Boy guitarist, Pete Wentz.
Not only have the hugely popular US musicians co-written songs for the Perth band, but Australia's own Chris Cheney of The Living End has jumped in on the fun, as has Rachael West, Fiona Bevan, Nick Bailey and James Bourne of Busted.
"It really allowed us to explore a more personal avenue of songwriting," Small Town Heroes vocalist Josh Raven said of working with the artists.
"We were able to focus on what we really wanted to write about, how it relates to us/others as a whole and the message we want to convey.
"I feel like we're discovering tools to really create music that is just a pure reflection of us, as people and as a sound."

Raven added that fans can expect a change in their sound with the debut album, set to drop later in the year.
"I think they will love the direction we're heading because it's not just us," he said.
"It's the most unique possible version of us and we're still finding incredible ways to keep putting pieces of ourselves we didn't know we had into this new music.
"Pushing barriers and comfort zones to really make this something unique not only to us but to everyone else."
Small Town Heroes will return home next month where they will play at Perth's Amplifier Bar on Saturday, 10 June.
