Good luck!

Having kicked off the first show of her debut Australian tour last night in front of over 60,000 fansAdele's presence has already been felt on the ARIA charts.

The UK superstar's third LP, 25, has hung around the top ten since its release back in late 2015 (where it peaked at #1) and it is the favourite to again take out top spot on the Albums chart, according to midweek figures.

Melbourne psych-rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are the biggest threat to take down the multiple Grammy award-winner with their ninth studio album, Flying Microtonal Banana, which is expected to debut in the top three.

WA folk outfit The Waifs are also looking to shake up the top end of the chart with their eighth offering, Ironbark, also primed for a top three finish.

Given that Adele's show in Perth last night resulted in gridlock traffic and her concerts in Brisbane this weekend are expected to do the same, it will no doubt be a huge upset if any artist can beat the singer to #1.

Other album debuts this week come from Aussie hip hop duo Horrorshow with Bardo State (top five), Stormzy's Gang Signs & PrayerHoly Holy's Paint (both top ten), Little Big Town's The Breaker (top 25), the T2 Trainspotting soundtrack (top 30), Future's HNDRXX (top 40), Alessia Cara's Know-It-All and Thundercat's Drunk (both top 50).

After taking out a clean hat-trick on the Singles chart last weekEd Sheeran's seven-week reign at #1 could be in trouble due to The Chainsmokers' new track.

The US DJ duo, who enjoyed a long run at top spot on the chart recently with Closer, are set to crack the top two with Something Just Like This, featuring Coldplay

At this stage, it is too close to tell if the song will overtake Sheeran's Shape Of You.

Expect to also hear new tunes this week from Calvin Harris with Slide, featuring Frank Ocean and Migos (top 20) and Future's Selfish, featuring Rihanna (top 50).
