Making us proud, guys!

More Empire Of The Sun More Empire Of The Sun

So, if you weren't aware already, Aussie duo Empire Of The Sun are a BIG deal in the US.

Not only did the Sydney act perform sold out shows through the States last year, their 2008 breakout hit, Walking On A Dream, got some massive mainstream attention when it was featured in a Honda car commercial earlier this year, earning them the musical guest spot on Ellen and just last month on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

Now with their latest LP, Two Vines, Empire Of The Sun have surely solidified their spot in the US market as the album has tore up a number of lists on the Billboard charts

Not only has the band's third studio album debuted at #51 on the Top 200 chart, but it has also come in at top spot on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, #8 on the Alternative Albums chart, #10 on the Vinyl Albums Chart and #11 on the Rock Albums Chart.

The chart placings come just days after Two Vines debuted at #7 on the ARIA Albums chart.

Meanwhile, the album's lead single, High & Low, has continued to perform well on the songs charts, despite being released in August.

The track has moved up from #20 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart to place at #16, while it also made a big jump up from #34 to #24 on the Top Rock Songs chart.

High & Low has also held its position of #24 on the Rock Airplay chart and at #25 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.

Empire Of The Sun will next perform in Australia this coming January in support of FOMO Festival; their first shows in the country since 2014 — check out theGuide for more details.

Fellow Aussie act Nervo are also moving their way up the US charts, as their latest hit, People Grinnin' featuring The Child Of Lov, has climbed up from #3 to #2 on the Dance Club Songs chart.
