The actor has reportedly refused to apologise.
Rapper Azealia Banks has reportedly filed a battery report against Russell Crowe after the US musician alleged that the actor violently evicted her from a private party at his Beverly Hills hotel suite in LA on Saturday night.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old hip hop artist filed the report with Beverly Hills Police on Sunday afternoon after Crowe's reps reportedly refused to apologise for the incident, insisting he had done nothing wrong.
Banks' representative, Raymani International, released a statement on Twitter shortly after news of the alleged incident broke.

The incident allegedly started after Banks mocked the music playing in the suite and called Crowe and another guest "boring white men".
While it has been reported that Crowe carried Banks out of the apartment after she threatened to attack guests with a glass, Banks later took to her Facebook page to claim that the filmmaker "called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me".
Banks later deleted the posts.
Crowe is yet to publicly comment on the alleged altercation, though did retweet the original story as reported by TMZ on his official Twitter account.
