Boy & Bear Announce Epic 'Limit Of Love' Regional National Tour

Five-time ARIA-winning indie-folk-pop heroes Boy & Bear are hitting the road less travelled for their next chapter, announcing a mammoth run of shows throughout regional Australia named in honour of last year's acclaimed third album, Limit Of Love.

Getting under way at Ballarat's Regent Theatre on Wednesday 9 November, the recent Splendour In The Grass stars will take their tunes to stages in Bendigo, Geelong, Wodonga, Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns, Townsville, Albany, Margaret River, Fremantle, Orange, Canberra, Wollongong and Newcastle, where they close out at Wests City just over a month later, on Saturday 10 December. All along the way, they'll be joined by the enchanting sounds and players of All Our Exes Live In Texas.

The sojourn puts an exclamation on point on a massive year of travel for the band, who have spent much of 2016 at headline gigs and in festival spots not only in Australia but the US, Canada, Europe and the UK to boot, buoyed by the broad success of Limit Of Love and its wildly successful single Walk The Wire (not to mention its well-received title track). That doesn't mean that they're planning on phoning in this sizeable run of shows by any stretch, however.

"We'll be changing it up night to night, really; often the venue depicts what kind of show we will go for," vocalist/guitarist Killian Gavin said in a statement. "A nice noisy pub makes a great rock show while the intimate theatres allow a lot more room for dynamics and banter. Keeps us on our toes and stops us from being repetitive… It's been a long time coming for us, this regional run. But we always love playing to as many local cities as we can, it takes time to get back there but we're looking forward to it."
