Well, this sucks.

After a hugely successful set at this year's Splendour In The Grass, The Kills frontman Alison Mosshart still managed to take to the stage for some local sideshows even after becoming incredibly ill, but it appears her condition has worsened to the point that the indie-rock duo have been forced to cancel a string of upcoming concerts.
In a statement posted to Facebook yesterday, The Kills announced that Mosshart's illness means planned shows throughout Europe will not be going ahead.
"Alison has come down with pneumonia, and in an effort to fully recover, cannot travel and take to the stage at this time," the statement reads.
"The band will now not perform at Off, Oya, Way Out West or Flow festivals (where promoters will find great replacements) and will postpone their current headline shows in Prague, Leipzig and Copenhagen, which they hope to rearrange (stand by for more information).
