It's not all bad news though.

More Broods More Broods

New Zealand duo Broods were in prime position to take out the #1 position on this week's ARIA Albums Chart with their sophomore record Conscious, but they'll have to settle for #2 as they've been beaten to the punch by US heavyweights Red Hot Chili Peppers who have held on to top spot from last week with The Getaway.

It's not all bad news for the indie-pop duo though; the chart placing still marks their highest ranking after their debut album Evergreen peaked at #5 back in 2014.

The top five is rounded out by Adele's 25 (#3), Beyonce's Lemonade (#4) and Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool (#5).

Other albums debuting on the chart this week include DJ Shadow's The Mountain Will Fall (#31), Neil Young & The Promise Of The Real's Earth (#37) and Steve Vai's Modern Primitive/Passion & Warfare (#59).

Over on the Singles Chart, Drake's One Dance featuring Wizkid & Kyla has yet again held on to top spot, but Aussie duo The Veronicas could be one to watch in the coming weeks with a huge climb up the chart.

The Brisbane pair's In My Blood dropped early last month but the track has taken out #3 this week, way up from last week when it came in at #22.

Troye Sivan's Wild featuring Alessia Cara has debuted at #26, while fellow Aussie and The Voice winner Ellie Drennan's Hard Love has come in at #41 and Delta Goodrem's Enough featuring Gizzle has placed at #46.
