Second time the charm?

More Broods More Broods

New Zealand outfit Broods have peaked at #1 in their home country but are yet to achieve the same feat in Australia, but that could be about to change as the duo are on track to take out top spot on this week's ARIA Albums Chart with their sophomore record, Conscious.

Taking out #1 would obviously be a momentous occurrence for the band, following on from the 2014 debut effort Evergreen which peaked at top spot in NZ and at #5 in Australia.

Broods are aiming for a top three debut this week and are the favourites to run down US heavyweights Red Hot Chili Peppers, who took out #1 last week.

Rounding out the album debuts this week includes Neil Young & The Promise Of The Real with EarthDJ Shadow's The Mountain Will Fall and Steve Vai's Modern Primitive/Passion & Warfare.

On the Singles Chart, Perth-based artist Troye Sivan is debuting his latest track, Wild featuring Alessia Cara, alongside fellow Aussie acts Delta Goodrem's Enough featuring Gizzle and The Voice winner Ellie Drennan's Hard Love.

Though Drake has dominated the chart in recent weeks with his hit song One Dance featuring Wizkid & Kyla, Brisbane duo The Veronicas are set to shake the top three up with In My Blood, which dropped earlier this month.
