Hands Like Houses, DMA'S & Hillsong To Battle For Week's Top Local Debut

The race is well and truly on in the ARIA midweeks as three Australian acts are set to battle it out for the week's top local debut. 

Canberra's Hands Like Houses third studio album, Dissonants is vying for a top ten spot against Sydney's DMA'S' debut offering, Hill's End and Hillsong Young & Free's sophomore record, Youth Revival, though who will finish higher on the chart is yet to be revealed. 

Meanwhile British outfit The 1975 are on track for their first Australian #1 album with I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, following their 2013 self-titled debut which peaked at #6 on the ARIA Albums Chart, while US rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are set for a top five placing with This Unruly Mess I've Made, though both will likely challenge last week's top charting artists in Hilltop Hoods and Adele, as well as the Molly soundtrack.

Rounding out the album debuts this week include AnthraxFor All KingsSteel Panther's Live From Lexxi's Mom's GarageCeltic Thunder's Legacy Vol 1 and compilation record George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison.

Over on the Singles Chart, Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots are set to make their way into the top three with their hit track Stressed Out, as is Hilltop Hoods' 1955, featuring Montaigne and Tom Thum.

New tunes dropping this week include Kelly Clarkson's Piece By PieceAlan Walker's Faded, former One Direction Zayn's new offering, It's You, the latest from Taylor Swift's Grammy winning album 1989 in New RomanticsFifth Harmony's Work From Home featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Dance Off featuring British actor Idris Elba and Anderson Paak.
