The fans have spoken.

Originally slated as an over 18s event, organisers of the newly-launched Legion have today announced that the age restriction for the festival has been amended to 15 and over.

The fans have spoken and due to a huge response from young music lovers, organisers have decided to adjust the age limit.

In a statement given exclusively to theMusic, organisers said, "We’re serious about upholding our commitment to giving the fans a voice and letting them decide the outcome of the festival."

"When we announced that the event would be 18+ the fans definitely spoke up so we made it a priority to move some things around and make this happen for them."

Earlier today it was announced that US metal act Devildriver have been added to the 2016 debut event this March, alongside veteran Canadian outfit Front Line Assembly and Brisbane's Aversions Crown
