He's #OverIt
Soundwave big boss AJ Maddah has told a fan on Twitter that there will be "definitely no" Soundwave 2017 occurring, amidst concerns about next month's Soundwave 2016 from bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Frenzal Rhomb.
He tweeted, "It's a lot of hard work, stress & risk in return for which we get hate & stupidity #OverIt".

The promoter has been replying to other punters on Twitter occasionally, also stating, "When I know something concrete. , i'll share it w fans. Always have. Always will."

Upon finding out about Bring Me The Horizon's concerns yesterday, Maddah told us, "I won't know anything until I hear from London." This morning he tweeted that he had spoken to the band's management and was "working on their concerns/requests." He has not yet responded to Frenzal Rhomb's concerns.

Earlier this year, Soundwave Festival put their operating company into voluntary administration, but Maddah told theMusic.com.au, “Nothing from previous years will affect next year’s festival ... We’ve got a great line-up; everything is on track for next year.”
