Search Warrant Reportedly Finds More Drugs On Scott Weiland's Tour Bus

Almost one week after former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland was tragically found dead in his tour bus in Minnesota, a search warrant has reportedly revealed that a number of drugs have been identified in the same vehicle. 

According to a Hennepin County warrant and affidavit via Billboard, an "unknown white substance packaged in baggies" was "located in the bedroom in plain view."

The warrant reads that the "2 clean baggies with white substance" were found "common with the way narcotics are packaged." 

Police also found a "baggie with green leafy substance", viagra, sleeping pills, a pain killer and Ziprasidone, a medication used to treat symptoms of bipolar disorder (Weiland was diagnosed with the medical condition in 2001).

The news also comes just days after cocaine was reportedly found on the bus, which was found to have belonged to guitarist Tommy Black who was later arrested. 

Earlier this week, Weiland's ex-wife Mary Forsberg Weiland penned an open letter with their teenage children, Noah and Lucy.

"This is the final step in our long goodbye to Scott. Even though I felt we had no other choice, maybe we never should have let him go," the letter reads.

"Over the last few years, I could hear his sadness and confusion when he'd call me late into the night, often crying about his inability to separate himself from negative people and bad choices. I won't say he can rest now, or that he's in a better place. He belongs with his children barbecuing in the backyard and waiting for a Notre Dame game to come on. We are angry and sad about this loss, but we are most devastated that he chose to give up."

"Our hope for Scott has died, but there is still hope for others. Let's choose to make this the first time we don't glorify this tragedy with talk of rock and roll and the demons that, by the way, don't have to come with it."
