The first-ever Disconnect event hits Pinjarra's Fairbridge Village this December
Fledgling West Australian camping festival Disconnect has followed up on the promise of its massive first line-up announcement with a second-round batch of artists set to knock the standard well into the stratosphere, with the new faces led by the likes of POND, City Calm Down and Harts.
Also on the way to Pinjarra's Fairbridge Village, about an hour south of Perth, next month — in addition to previously announced lip-smackers such as Chet Faker, Meg Mac, Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza, Father John Misty, Julia Holter, Neon Indian, Abbe May, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Tired Lion, Slum Sociable, Ruby Boots and many others — are Peter Bibby, Timothy Nelson & The Infidels, Mathas, Sid Pattni, Death Disco DJs, Tommyhawks, Fait, Hamjam, Lucy Peach, Edde, Angus Dawson, Ru, Antiques Roadshow DJs, Bloom, Benny Mayhem, Bedouin Sea, Waapa Gospel Choir, Sydnee Carter, Sean Wise, K-La, Mezko, The River Styx, DJ Rovy Rush and DJ Eddy Electric, taking the total number of acts on offer past the 50 mark.
There'll be plenty more than just music to sate your senses at Disconnect, however, with organisers previously revealing a broad spread of other activities and consumables to enjoy, including the Mess Hall, comedy, Bogan Bingo, and kid-friendly/family-focused events and sports.
The first Disconnect contemporary arts and lifestyle festival will be held over the three days from Friday 11-Sunday 13 December. Camping (next to your vehicle, no less — yesssss, Disconnect gets it) is included in the price of tickets, which are available now.
