The Darkness Blast Back Into Australia With A Tour And New Album

If you weren't entirely aware that British glam rockers The Darkness were alive and kicking, well, you're probably not alone. The quartet have had a few quiet years but 2015 is a loud one — the band are crashing back into your consciousness with a new album — their fourth, Last Of Our Kind — and a tour announcement that they'll be here this November.

Their debut album Permission To Land was certified quadruple platinum in the UK, and though the band did take a bit of time off between 2006 and 2011, we thought their newest has "something for Darkness fans of all vintages", which means these upcoming shows will be a lot of fun.

The band are kicking off their Australian tour in Adelaide on Friday, 6 November, before heading to Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and finally Sydney on Friday, 13 November.
