"There’s something for Darkness fans of all vintages"

More The Darkness More The Darkness

The Darkness have never been interested in conforming to what you think they should sound like.

Even since returning to the spotlight in 2011 their music has been diverse, and Last Of Our Kind is no different. From rampaging riffs and Viking references on Barbarian to ballad, Sarah O’Sarah, with some straight-up guitar rock like lead single, Open Fire, thrown in for good measure, there’s something for Darkness fans of all vintages. Justin Hawkins’ falsetto delivers every time, but it’s hard not to think a bit more focus might have worked more effectively.
