This Heavy Metal 'Mad Max' & 'Benny Hill' Mash-Up Is Absolute Perfection

[slapstick intensifies]

It's a rule as old as the internet itself: the Benny Hill theme, officially known as Yakety Sax, will — without fail — make anything funnier. That includes ravers, the harrowing opening scene of Saving Private Ryan and, as it turns out, Mad Max: Fury Road.

Yup, internet denizen and filmmaker Camden Remington, of 6S Films, has made the audiovisual connection (and puns) we all wish we had made first and then taken it to wildly appropriate heights, which is — as The Nerdist points out — the utterly glorious pairing of the frantic melody of Yakety Sax as envisioned through the heavy-metal lens of musician Eric Calderone, all smushed up with the narrative insanity of Fury Road, creating in the process arguably the perfect montage of chaos, comedy and crushing it

Even though George Miller's long-awaited revisiting of the Mad Max universe was a released a little while ago now, we don't think we'll ever stop being surprised and tickled to the core by the sheer depth of the well the internet has dug in order to keep mining this film for content

Aaaaaand… YAKETY MAX!
