Ex-AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd's sentencing has been adjourned until next month in his on-going court case.

According to SunLive, the 60-year-old was due to be sentenced on Jun 26 after pleading guilty to drug charges and threatening to kill, but it will now take place on Jul 9.

Rudd was found to be in possession of 0.71g of methamphetamine and 130g of cannabis in November last year and was also found to have called a colleague in September asking for a former security guard turned personal assistant to be "taken out", because the solo album he had released last August "didn't go well".

Rudd is believed to have offered the colleague $200,000, a house, motorbikes and cars in payment for the request and the following day called the victim to say: "I'm going to come over and kill you".

Meanwhile, Rudd revealed last month that after departing the iconic group, that he had written to his former band mates and was yet to hear a response.

The Sydney-founded band have recently been touring with their former drummer Chris Slade and they are set to return to Australia this November for a string of stadium dates —  see theGuide or The Music App for more info.
