Can 'Fifty Shades' end Tay Swift's dominance?

The soundtrack for the much-hyped Fifty Shades Of Grey movie is making a serious play for the top of this week's ARIA Albums Chart.

The soundtrack to the bondage-themed flick features songs by music superstar Beyoncé, alternative R&B crooner The Weeknd, Eurythmics legend Annie Lennox and Australia's own Sia among many others. It's on target to crack at least the top five this week, coinciding with the film's release tomorrow, though midweek figures suggest it could go higher and possibly knock Taylor Swift's 1989 off the top.

There will be a handful of new albums appearing in the chart this week including records from Diana Krall (Wallflower), Bob Dylan (Shadows In The Night), Fifth Harmony (Reflection), Roxette (The Roxbox - A Collection Of Roxette's Greatest Songs) and Kodaline's (Coming Up For Air). Crowded House legend Neil Finn should enter the top 40 with his new iTunes Session collection while The Wiggles' Rock & Roll Preschool should debut in the 50.

Movement will also come from One Direction's Four thanks to their current Aussie tour and Paul Kelly's The Merri Soul Sessions, which he is currently showcasing around the country.

Swift's latest single Style should finally move into the ARIA Singles Chart top ten this week, while fellow Grammy nominee Meghan Trainor's Dear Future Husband should also move up the chart. Philip George's Wish You Were Mine, The Weeknd's Earned It - off the Fifty Shades soundtrack - and Sam Smith's Grammy-conquering Stay With Me will also experience jumps this week.

Single debuts should come from the controversial Redfoo (Juicy Wiggle) and American pop darling Kelly Clarkson (Heartbeat Song).
