The Bennies Working On Third Album

We may hear new material from The Bennies at Soundwave this year, with the Melbourne party rockers revealing they have begun working on songs for their next record.

Touring the world, supporting some big-name acts and being one of the most-played artists on triple j Unearthed, 2014 was a big year for The Bennies, and scoring a spot on Soundwave, which will be followed up by a headline tour, 2015 is shaping up to be even bigger.

“We are writing new songs at the moment,” they posted on Facebook.
“Believe it or not... we may have written the most party song we ever have!!! HOOOLEY DOOLEY!!!!”

The Bennies confirmed to theMusic.com.au the tracks are for their third album, and they plan to enter the studio around July for a release later this year. They released the Heavy Disco EP in November of last year via Poison City.
