The boys are back and harder than ever
Aussie metalcore heayweights Northlane have confirmed the identity of their new vocalist, along with the unveiling of the band's new single Rot.
Marcus Bridge, after practically revealing himself as Northlane's new leader late last month, was confirmed this evening as the replacement for long-time member Adrian Fitipaldes, who surprisingly quit the band in September.
"We are proud to welcome Marcus Bridge to the Northlane family as our new vocalist. Marcus gave an outstanding audition video and as we spent time with him we found that he was truly the best person for the job," the band said in a statement.
"While we had planned as far back as May to be releasing a single on November 21, it’s been an extremely difficult process to make happen. The fact that we got this done in time is a minor miracle. We’ve never had so much trouble and given so much time and attention to a track before."

The Sydney outfit are keeping very busy over the coming months, with tours of Europe and America locked in, as well as a headline turn at January's Unify: A Heavy Gathering.
Rot is officially released next week through UNFD.
