J Awards Announce More Album Of The Year Nominees

Following Friday's revelation of the artists up for the inaugural Double J Australian Artist Of The Year Award, the triple j J Awards have returned to recorded work, naming a further six studio full-lengths considered worthy for the title of Australian Album Of The Year.

Joining the lauded albums from previously announced nominees #1 Dads, Ball Park Music, Chet Faker, The Preatures, Remi and Total Control will be releases from Flight Facilities (Down To Earth), Seekae (The Worry), sleepmakeswaves (Love Of Cartography), Thundamentals (So We Can Remember), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (I'm In Your Mind Fuzz) and the Hilltop Hoods (Walking Under Stars).

Nominations are yet to be revealed for the remaining two categories — Unearthed Artist Of The Year and Australian Music Video Of The Year — but with just over a week until the prize-giving goes down, don't expect to wait too long to find out who else is up to be recognised at the ceremony.

The 2014 J Awards will be broadcast live from 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, November 18.
