Locals The Jungle Giants and The Paper Kites make strong entries though
Steady first-week sales saw Nine Inch Nails' Hesitation Marks - NIN's first album since 2008's The Slip - enter today's ARIA Albums Chart at number three.
Despite the high level of anticipation for NIN's long-awaited eighth studio album, it was no match for Australia's love of Pink, who returned to number one with The Truth About Love - which will celebrate one year in the chart next week. Pink's also holding down the number ten spot with Greatest Hits... So Far!!! (139 weeks in). And, Fleetwood Mac' s 25 Years - The Chain leapt ahead of NIN to snaffle the number two position, it's peak spot so far.
As was indicated by midweek sales figures, two local bands made impressive inroads with debut albums. Brisbane's The Jungle Giants came in at 12 with Learn To Exist and Melbourne's The Paper Kites entered at 17 with States.
Other new entries included: former US Nikelodean star Ariana Grande's Yours Truly at six; Bob Dylan's Another Self Portrait: The Bootleg Series Vol 10 at 20; Justin Vernon's Volcano Choir at 27 with Repave; UK R&B producer-turned-pop-star Naughty Boy at 62 with Hotel Cabana; and rising US R&B singer Miguel at 93 with Kaleidoscope Dream.

The week's biggest jump within the chart came from NZ's Fat Freddy's Drop, their current Australian sell-out tour bumping their Blackbird set from 91 to 33 in its eleventh week in - it initially peaked at 11.
Katy Perry remained atop the ARIA Singles Chart with Roar, but fellow US pop entity Miley Cyrus is hot on her heels as all the online tongue-n-twerk chatter about her VMA performance propels her Wrecking Ball in at 15. However, the highest new entry belongs to Swedish EDM producer Aviici, in at 12 with You Make Me - a follow up to his mammoth chart topper Wake Me Up.
The highest local new entries were from TV-singing-competition stars. Heritage Australian Idol (2004) singer Ricki-Lee landed at 28 with Come And Get In Trouble With Me with X Factor's latest success Dami Im within reach of the pop TV crown, at 29 with her cover of Prince's Purple Rain.
