Jack White’s Hatred Of Dan Auerbach Revealed In Email To Ex-Wife

It's not been a good week for Jack White. After it emerged that his ex-wife Karen Elson had slapped a restraining order on the former White Stripes frontman, his hatred on The Black keys' Dan Auerbach has now been made public.

After news of the restraining order emerged yesterday, TMZ have published an email from White to Elson which sheds lights onto exactly what White was allegedly chastising Elson for in regards to associating with unnamed musicians he believes have 'ripped him off' musically.

Discussing access to the couple's two children, White allegedly wrote, “My concern with Auerbach is because I don't want the kids involved in any of that crap. You aren't thinking ahead. That's a possible 12 fucking years I'm going to have to be sitting in kids chairs next to that asshole with other people trying to lump us in together.

“He gets yet another free reign to follow me around and copy me and push himself into my world.”

Meanwhile the restraining order means that White can now only contact Elson via email and can only do so if “it relates to parenting time with the parties' minor children.”

He was served the order, signed by Circuit Court Judge Philip Robinson, on Monday 22 July. The ex-couple have a custody hearing scheduled for Thursday 29 August.
