The Sydney band will release the full-length, which carries an immersive visual aspect, on 16 November.

Sydney indie-poppers Enerate will release their new single, the atmospheric and catchy Transit Lounge, on 16 November, but theMusic.com.au is stoked to be hosting the track's premiere ahead of its landing next month.

The song is taken from the band's forthcoming debut album, Good Times Airlines (are we sensing a theme here?), which will arrive the same day as the single's release not only in typical formats but also through the band's own interactive app.

That multidimensional aspect has permeated the band's previous works, Half Asleep and Unstoppable, which were both accompanied by an interactive video to further the immersive nature of the band's lush, inviting tunes. The concept carries over to the broader record, itself billed as an "interactive visual album".

"Art is becoming more multidisciplinary, and music is becoming more visual," band member Josh Graham explained in a statement. "The album is as much video as it is music. This is not a marketing tool for the album — this is the album!

"We wanted to make a physical release that you can touch, feel, affect … that was multisensory and completely digital."

Enerate channel the likes of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool and Alpine in the synth-laden jam, its mellifluously delivered lyrics about "the want and the willingness to go and do something new — but you know it kind of frightens you; you know that you're a bit inhibited", the band's Therese Watson said in a statement. "But you understand those feelings, and you just kind of go for it anyway."

Being focused on their upcoming LP, Enerate don't currently have shows in the immediate pipeline, but be sure to hop over to their Facebook page and follow along for future news out of the inventive indie-pop crew's camp, because they look set to keep delivering a special experience for their listeners, if their current track record is any indication.
