More Dan Cribb & The Isolated More Dan Cribb & The Isolated

Perth outfit Dan Cribb & The Isolated (that's right, our friend Dan Cribb whose work you read each day!) have returned with roaring new single The Best Of Whatever. It comes after last year's fiery cover of the Neil Diamond classic, Cracklin' Rosie.

The track was produced by Cribb's That Sucks! podcast co-host Troy Nababan (who plays bass on the tune) and is the first taste of more new music to come from the vocalist, guitarist Scott Connor and drummer Brennan Pagels.

"It seems to get harder and harder to catch up with close friends and even some family the older you get, and sometimes that can get pretty frustrating," Cribb said. "I channelled that frustration/energy into this track."

The Isolated's last original track was 2018's Run Away, which dropped as his tribute to The Simpsons was also drawing to a close.

The Best Of Whatever is out tomorrow via Pee Records. You can listen to it now above and pre-save it here

Cribb and Nababan's podcast recently celebrated its 50th episode, which you can listen to below.
