Luke Gardiner started by writing music reviews for a student magazine while he was at university back home in the UK. He has always had a passion for music and for a brief period played guitar in a band while at school, although all evidence of this has been suspiciously lost. It has been known that in the past Luke would say he listened to all types of music to sound cool but he has since realised there is no hiding from the fact that he is obsessed with indie music. Since moving to Australia in 2023, Luke is excited to carry on working as a journalist within the music industry and continues to play guitar at home, much to the annoyance of his housemates.
