A banging three-tracker from the British bass fiends.. UK bass music trio Foreign Beggars have dropped their massive new EP - Modus, featuring three tracks and guest stars that include Eprom, Alix Perez and Riko Dan. EP opener Sirens featuring Eprom is a glitchy, sci-fi affair and the perfect introduction to the group's new EP, which sees them once again pushing into new sounds and new ways to hurt subs the world over. The title track is a heaving post-footwork beast, while Deng features plenty of jungle vibes and Riko Dan on the vox. On the EP's gensis, they had this to say: "We took a break earlier this year to start a new project with Alix Perez and Eprom, so headed out to LA for inspiration and a change of space. From grungy apartment chills to weird psychedelic trip in a second.. Following a video premiere on Vice's NOISEY, Sydney's DMA's continue their march of world dominance, winning the hearts and minds of all and sundry with their Brit-pop vibes, low key aesthetic and general seemingly disinterested attitude. But when the music's this good you know it's a bunch of very talented young chaps making extremely fun sing-along pub-pop that's easy to see why they've captured the attention of many here and abroad. Their latest clip, for Laced and shot by Sydney director Gabrielle Dadgostar seems like it's just gonna be three dudes sitting around a dingy apartment, until it explodes into a colourful psychedelic flurry of weird shit. Perfect. They're playing Southbound next year, so get your tinnies ready, lighters lit and shoulders warmed up for some serious arm-in-arm sing-along vibes.

Last night Thelma Plum unleashed her Monsters EP upon a rapturous crowd in Newcastle, and also released her beautifully dark video for new single Young In Love upon the world. It's a simultaneously romantic and unsettling video clip, crafted by Made In Katana, and based upon the Kohei Yoshiyuki photographic series, The Park (1971-1979). It also ties in perfectly with her delicate yet densely layered EP, produced under the guidance of one of Australia's finest - M-Phazes. Watch the bizarre and playful clip for British producer Lone's Restless City, from his latest LP for R&S Records.. Whenever Manchester producer Lone puts something out, we always pay attention. Lone’s June album release Reality Testing was full of brainy house jams – serious levels of soul-stirring bounce in that one!    Restless City, a track from the release, has just been given an entertaining animated video treatment by RUFFMERCY and Patch D. Keyes. In the clip, fast-moving imagery - dogs peeing on fire hydrants, gun-slinging apples, text messages, a skateboarding hotdog – are set against a grimy city background. It’s a fun romp that perfectly captures the playful and bizarre spirit of Lone’s music. Watch it below:  Reality Testing is out now via R & S Records.
