In support of the critically acclaimed 2010 release, Crooks and Lovers; London's MOUNT KIMBIE will be returning to Australia in May as part of The Hi Fi Shoreline Series. Joining Mount Kimbie will be perennial openers OSCAR 'N' MARTIN as the supporting act for the three date tour.
Mount Kimbie’s Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, are a mutli-skilled duo jumping back and forth between instruments, live and electronic. When seeing Mount Kimbie live, don’t expect the pair to hide behind tables and computers, they are totally expressive and engrossing to watch. You’d expect a person dealing with the amount of equipment these two deal with to be playing the whole time with a manual in one hand.
