World Electronic Music Contest Comes To Australia

Fame Music and Ministry of Sound team up to bring the World Electronic Music Contest to Australia, with one hell of a prize package!

Fancy yourself as a DJ or producer and think your music needs to be heard? Ever wanted to release your music through a record label like, say, Ministry of Sound? How about recording in a recording studio?

Have you ever wanted to play a set in one of the most iconic clubs in the southern hemisphere? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you have come to the right place!

That's right! The legends at Fame Music and Ministry of Sound have teamed up to give one lucky person the chance of a lifetime. They're bringing the World Electronic Music Contest (WEMC) to Australia! After unprecedented success on their European contest this year - in which the winner, NOIZE_PARADE, got a release on JunkDog Records, and played sets in Ibiza, Dubai and Las Vegas to name a few - they're now setting their sights on the burgeoning electronic scene in Australia to see what we have to offer!

So, what do you win? The winner of the Australian WEMC will win the opportunity to produce and engineer their sounds in the country's premiere studio facility, Studio 301, as well as an international release through Ministry of Sound and gigs at two of the southern hemisphere's most iconic clubs! If that's not enough for you, Native Instruments have chucked in some of the latest studio equipment and technology, and you'll also receive one-on-one mentoring from two of Australia's most prominent electronic/dance acts! Add to this advice from label professionals and experts, and this might just be the best competition of the year!

Judging the contest will be a panel of the industry's top dogs, including leading electronic duo SCNDLMinistry of Sound A&R Dylan SandersStudio 301's Ben Feggans, as well as a special guest judge.
