"The song is about connection and love - whether that's romantic, friendship, or in this case family."

The Music are excited to premiere the video for Soak Into This today; far north Queenslander Greta Stanley's first single of 2020.

The track is an ear-grabbing piece of pop-smart indie-rock and to translate it to film, Stanley reconnected with director Brendan Schoenmaker, who she worked with on last year's beautiful Pour clip starring Matt Okine and dancer Dana Paige Coles.

“Having worked with Brendan Schoenmaker and an incredible team from Griffith Film School with a previous film clip, it seemed a no-brainer to pitch the new song to them given the beautiful work they produced," Stanley told The Music.

Stanley initially wrote the track about the "exciting feeling you get when you enter a new relationship", romantic or otherwise. The clip expands on that meaning, enveloping another type of love in the story of two sisters that heal their fractured bond through music.

"The team behind this new film clip did an incredible job of bringing the upbeat exciting feeling in the song to life," Stanley said.

"The song is about connection and love - whether that's romantic, friendship, or in this case family. I'm so grateful I met such talented folks."
