VIDEO PREMIERE: Flyying Colours - 1987

More Flyying Colours More Flyying Colours

Melbourne's Flyying Colours are preparing to wrap up the tour cycle for their excellent 2016 debut album, Mindfullness, with shows locked down here and abroad over the next little while, but, before they do, they're ushering one more single into the world with the dreamy strains of 1987.

The tune's accompanying video is premiering on theMusic.com.au today, featuring a fittingly retro-tinged collection of DIY tour footage shot during the band's recent adventures touring the album, from aeroplane seats to stages; back rooms and bedrooms to bars and alleyways.

The clip's inherent bittersweet feeling of capturing irretrievable moments is as apt as its visual aesthetic, being that their upcoming gigs — in the UK and Europe, as well as a preceding single-video launch at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Saturday 6 May — will be the last time they play Mindfullness live before they hunker down to start working on new material.

The band will be joined at their local show by Baptism Of Uzi and Kodiak Galaxy.
