The Peep Tempel - Big Fish

10 October 2014 | 3:45 pm | Staff Writer

More The Peep Tempel More The Peep Tempel

Melburnian rock three-piece The Peep Tempel (man, we had to focus to not keep writing "Temple") have just released the new clip for their track Big Fish, directed by Tropfest winner Nicholas Clifford.

The grimy, industrial landscape of the clip belies its deeper narrative of a man, his dog, and the seedy underground world of street-level... dog shows... taking more than a minute for the vocals to come in as the dirty, driven instrumentation sets the scene for the clip's central character to take his journey down the rabbit hole.

The track is taken from the band's recent sophomore full-length, Tales, released this month, which is their first work since last year's Modern Professional EP, and first album since 2012's debut The Peep Tempel.

The Peep Tempel play The Bridge Hotel, in Castlemaine, tonight, with support from Blue Stratos. Check the Gig Guide or see The Music App for more information.
