AUS PREMIERE: Jose Gonzalez - Leaf Off/The Cave

Acclaimed folk troubadour Jose Gonzalez is ramping up towards the release of his eagerly awaited third studio full-length, Vestiges & Claws, with the revelation of the new video clip for recent cut Leaf Off/The Cave.

The video was created in Gonzalez's homeland of Sweden, in the city of Gothenburg, in collaboration with director Mikel Cee Karlsson, and focuses its lens on Gonzalez leading a church-style revue as families, friends and individual front up for portraits and the populous congregation sing and clap along to the singer-songwriter's dulcet, ambling tune. As Consequence Of Sound explains, the video apparently has its influential roots sown with the Sunday Assembly, a group for "non-religious people who want a similar communal experience to a religious church".
