New York Producer makes highly anticipated return with his latest emotional electronica single 'Honest'

New York producer XAN YOUNG returns with 'Honest' electronica single. His latest offering is touch heavier and far more moody than his debut, 'Paradise,' but it'll be sure to get you grooving.

'Honest' is a bass driven, atmospheric soundscape. The gently warped synths and hypnotising vocals sweep over you and hook you in from first listen. The breaks style percussion is subtle, but crucial to the rise and fall of this gooey, spaced out tune. Water sounds wash in and out and looped together with some sporadic house-y drum. The spaces between in this song, are as enchanting as the hook. The instrumental tension build ups leave you lingering for that drop. In an EDM age, it's nice to see that the art of light and shade is not lost on the generation of emerging talent. 'Honest,' much like the sentiment behind the word, it's beautiful, challenging and stirring.

Another excited and incredibly refined sound to come out of the New York melting pot. It's the type of tune you can imagine yourself discovering at 1am at a super intimate warehouse party of rooftop bar in Williamsburg. 'Honest' is warm and captivating. We can't wait to hear more from Xan Young.
