"Most will simply walk away with a bad taste of Nickelback."

We Came As Romans' self-titled fourth studio album is a far cry from the band's original sound.

While they've maintained a minimal amount of heavy breakdowns and chug riffs, the record is more accurately radio hard-rock than anything close to metalcore. Leading with a strong pop-friendly approach to melodies and clean vocal use, the album has a polished production that will put many fans offside instantly. Memories and Savior Of The Week will appease a new legion of fans, but most will simply walk away with a bad taste of Nickelback.
