Not only did he produce, direct and edit the clip himself, Timi Temple and his pals also created the Snakes & Ladders board as well!

Human light beam Timi Temple is back this week with a brand new video for his latest single, 'Snakes & Ladders'. The short and sweet track is as catchy as it is fun, showcasing his continually evolving lyricism and his unrivaled ability to have so much fun while doing what he loves. So, given that, it's only fitting his new single should have an equally fun and impressive video, and that's exactly what we're premiering today.

Produced, directed and edited by the artist himself, Timi Temple has outdone himself with this latest clip. Tapping a bunch of pals to join him at O.H Reid Oval at the Lane Cove National Park, the video is centred around the world's largest Snakes & Ladders board created by Timi and his friends. Using a combination of tripod shots, steady glide cam and overhead drone shots, Timi's vision is expertly brought to life, amplifying the many metaphors within his new single.

Timi said of the clip, “The video is all about perspective - the snakes being the users and the ladders being someone/thing they can climb to get ahead in life. I shot and edited this in a 1:1 square aspect ratio to reflect the whole square snakes and ladders board theme - everything is square! You'll notice that anytime our POV is that of a crowd member I’m wearing yellow to signify the ladder. Similarly, the second chorus onwards I’m wearing snake colours and the audience has all turned into ladders. Once again, dark undertones hidden within a very playful and colourful setting, the sort of juxtaposition that I LOVE!”

Having forged his name and identity in Australian music not just with his own releases but his extensive touring with the likes of Baker Boy, Kilter, Cosmo’s Midnight and Bootleg Rascal, as well as performing on triple j's Like A Version with Kilter, Cosmo’s Midnight and Kota Banks and at Splendour in The Grass, Field Day, Listen Out, Yours & Owls and Falls Festival (plus his own sold out shows at venues across the country), Timi Temple is a mainstay for fans and industry alike. And, with singles as exceptional as 'Snakes & Ladders' up his sleeve, it's all the proof you need to know he's going to be around for much, much longer too. Dive into the clip below:
