We've just been treated to a preview of British group The XX's upcoming album and although it sounds beautiful we can't help but notice the notable absence of key member Jamie XX's electronic MPC production. It's understandable that he might not feature on this short preview seeing as he's just put out his own Pitchfork acclaimed EP and produced the title track off US rapper Drake's latest album Take Care featuring pop star Rhianna.
Busy or not will Jamie feature at all on this upcoming record? Are The XX set to head in a new, more stripped back guitar-&-vocals direction in 2012?
