One of our favourite acts headed to our part of the world for Splendour in the Grass is THE SHINS. Luckily for us, we can get our Shins fix thanks to this new video from the 4 boys and 1 girl from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It’s stop-motion. And boy do we love stop-motion! One lovely witch saves an enchanted rabbit from three dastardly wizards. It is, shall we saw a very interesting clip - if by interesting we mean adorable, inventive and clever. Considering the shades of grey colouring the entire thing, it’s surprisingly light and ever so endearing. The clip accompanies the charming opening track from their newest release, Port of Morrow. It’s got James Mercer’s twee vocals, as well as indie riffs and more than a dash of synth. Conclusion: love love love it.
