Melbourne synth-pop star NUSSY has shared an electric visual accompaniment for her tune, 'Hard As Diamonds.' A sharp turn from her previous bodies of works, it's visceral, but charged femme flavour. Noticeably more industrial, 'Hard As Diamonds' is a real slow burner with edge.
Nussy took the song's themes of inner turmoil and human struggle to an industrious place with 'Hard as Diamonds.' Working in collaboration with DAN SMITH, the clip borrows some of it's character from contemporary classics, such as TV series Stranger Things and the film Drive. There's a predominantly masculine, cinematic feel about this clip, and the epic pan shots of cityscapes conjure a distinctly 80's cult feel. Nussy's highly stylised vocal and unique style work in stark contrast with all the edgy visuals and injected some femininity.
