Prolific Sydney bass producer Moonbase is back in action with 'Everyday Raver', a pounding tribute to UK grime and warehouse raves featuring Eyez.

Aussie Bass aficionado MOONBASE has announced his latest four-track EP AVALANCHE, out on the 14th of May. To celebrate, he's dropped its leading single 'Everyday Raver', featuring UK Grime MC Eyez, alongside a lo-fi video shot on the streets of London.

One of Sydney's most prolific bass producers, Moonbase has been steadily honing his craft of juke, grime and hip-hop infused bass magic. 'Everyday Raver' is his first offering of new music since 'Rebound' in August last year, which chronicled his journey of recovery from the discovery of a brain tumour and its subsequent removal. Recruiting UK Grime MC EYEZ, 'Everyday Raver' is the first of many thrills in a jam-packed year for Moonbase, with an EP and following headline tour of Australia just announced.

'Everyday Raver' displays all the bells and whistles that has made Moonbase one of the best Bass producers around. You've got a pounding beat replete with tinny TR-909 snares, an absolutely menacing and acidic bassline, and non-stop pulse-pounding energy that's enhanced by Eyez impeccable flow. It's a loving tribute to the UK rave scene in the best way possible, in that it's exactly the kind of tune you can imagine melting the crowd in a dingy underground warehouse.

The video, directed by Mitch Noakes, matches the feel of the track perfectly while shouting out the landscape that gives its name. Through a gritty and lo-fi style we see Moonbase and friends kick it throughout London, making their way to a warehouse rave just as the song ramps up. With fast-paced editing and glitchy digital effects, the vid for 'Everyday Raver' rockets an already monstrous track into a whole league of its own.
