Sydney's Mel Blue are back with a whole stack of treats for fans including some accompanying visuals and a video game!

Just a few weeks ago, Sydney's Mel Blue gifted to the world a brand new single titled 'Yesterday' which we were thrilled to premiere on Purple Sneakers. Now, the band are back to give their fans even more good news with the release of not only some accompanying visuals, but a brand new game that fans can play!

The game, which is the same game that features in the video, is available to play on the band's website and is a little extra treat they put together to take fans further into the funk-filled world they've created with this song. It's such a sweet video, and the perfect complement to the stellar single.

Speaking about all their good news, Mel Blue said to us, "Along with the new single, we set out to create an 80’s arcade world to accompany the song. The music video hero’s an arcade machine called Yesterday, located in a struggling “Mel’s Arcade”. Myself and Lewis Clark (Keyboard player) created a standalone platform runner game, which features in the music video and is available online for everyone to play."

"We wanted to make people feel they immerse themselves in the story and the song. We watched a bunch of footage from Stranger Things, Back To The Future, Big, The Last Starfighter etc… To really try and re create that feeling and nostalgia of the retro 80’s arcade. Lewis Clark directed, edited and shot the video along side Director of photography: Conor Rancan. We had an amazing team of friends helping out on the day and also the 1989 Arcade Bar was such an amazing venue to shoot the video in."
