Lontalius (Birth name Eddie Johnston) started being noticed last year with remixes of top 40 tracks by the likes of Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Drake. Now creating more of his own stuff again, it is steeped in the emotions of youth, giving it a painfully relatable edge to many who hear Lontalius’ music.

‘All I Wanna Say’ is a charismatic track. Lontalius has a deep voice, but there is something comforting about the way he tells the story. The main drive of the track is very light percussion and a xylophone sounding beat before adding piano chords and strings to create a soft melody to finish with.

His honesty about music videos is justifiable as Lontalius admits he doesn’t see his music in a visual sense. He hopes the simplistic nature of the video and lyrics will help people relate to the song as a whole. The video is a very touching tale of his best mate showing his how to ride a bike. The video shows trust, acceptance, and patience, everything relationships of all kinds should be about.

‘All I Wanna Say’ is out now via Pod through Inertia.
