Sydney singer/songwriter Kota Banks has dropped 'Zoom', an infectious bop produced by Swick, and a gorgeous video directed by Ella Carey.

Sydney artist KOTA BANKS is considered one of Australia's best new pop acts - her latest single 'Zoom' sees her living up to that title and then some, with an impressive video accompaniment to boot. Alongside the video comes the announcement that she is headlining the NLV Records parties coming to Sydney and Melbourne through April.

'Zoom' is Kota's first track since 'Holiday' last year which won national acclaim and was lauded as one of the best pop tracks of the year. With soaring vocal hooks and irresistible production, 'Zoom' shows that Kota Banks success last year wasn't just a fluke.

Produced by Swick, the track is bursting at the seams with bright and vibrant sounds, carried by the gorgeous vocals of Banks. With pop hooks and a hip-hop beat in a cosy dance shell, it's an infectiously buoyant track that's sure to get you moving. I don't use the word 'bop' lightly but if there were some weird future dictionary that played audio, 'Zoom' would definitely play if you looked that word up.

The video, directed by Ella Carey, takes the fun and vibrant vibes of the track and turns it up to eleven. We're treated to plenty of shots of Banks (a motorbike rider in her youth) stunting around on a dirt track in glorious slow motion. Thrown in are shots of her performing the track in random locations, like on top of a car in a field, or in an abandoned building. It ties into the idea of "adventure and euphoria" that Kota Banks aimed for with the song, all in one endearing and well-presented package.

Kota Banks is also headlining the newly announced NLV Records parties, alongside co-collaborator Swick as well as Strict Face and Lewis Cancut. Check out the dates and ticket links below!
