Indians have just released their clip to 'I Am Haunted'. Check it out, along with their 4AD Session!
INDIANS is the musical alter ego of Dane Søren Løkke Juu. Having signed to 4AD back in September of the year that was, Juu has been a busy boy touring Europe and the US with the likes of Beirut, Dan Deacon, Perfume Genius and Glass Animals to name a few.
AND somehow finding time to record a full length LP. DOUBLE AND film this dizzying bit of brilliance, I would be so very out of breath if I tried to say that all at once. Okay, so when I first heard this song, Animal Collective’s 2004 release Sung Tongs sprung to mind.. I know, I know, that’s a big call referencing such a paramount artist, though this is what came to me initially.
The cohesion of natural and synthetic textures, bleeding into one another like those marble paintings you used to do as a kid, though on closer inspection (insert simpsons reference here) Juu has created something of his own hear. There is a spatial sense present when listening to this track, Indians using such subtle textures to create both ambience and melody. And then there’s the song writing… Jeez. I’m just going to shut up and let you listen to the track for yourselves.

Oh and one more thing, along with that hey-let’s-take-a-ride-on-the-rotor clip Indians have recently film this little doozy for our beloved 4AD Session. 13:333333333333˙ minutes of watery, texturally, Indian-y goodness. Enjoy!
