Ever seen a video that has made you feel literally sick to your stomach? If you haven't, you evidently haven't been exposed to Youtube enough and you should search 'Epic Meal Time' immediately. What we're referring to however is, surprisingly enough, a music video. The film clip for HOT CHIP's latest single 'Flute', the first track off their forthcoming album In Our Heads is due for release in June this year through Domino Records. Don't get us wrong, we're not saying that it's bad. Just that you might not want to watch it in a moving vehicle.
The music video isn't as shocking as the other videos you're likely to stumble upon across the internet, but it still has a tendency to leave the viewer feeling nauseated.
Video aside, the group have delivered a fantastically chilled out electro track complimented by softly calming vocals that deliver a hypnotisingly immersive effect. Hopefully next time the group will have a little more sympathy for their audience and create a more enjoyable/tolerable music video.
