A couple of weeks ago we featured a new track from NYC act HERE WE GO MAGIC produced by Radiohead engineer and 'Sixth member' Nigel Godrich. Godrich was pursuaded to come on board to record the bands' album after being dragged along to see them by Radiohead front man Thom Yorke at last years Glastonbury festival. After seeing a couple more of their shows he went straight into sessioning with the band, describing the recording process as a ‘delicious blur’. Heres what he has to say about the group to Rolling Stone magazine:
“I am a big fan of this band. They work very hard. They are very talented individually and collectively. I was turned on to them by Thom Yorke while we were sharing a tipi at Glastonbury and were awoken by their opening set at the park stage. He dragged me along to see them, bleary-eyed and hungover. They gave an amazing performance for breakfast.”
