Western Australian electro pop duo GRRL PAL have released their second track in their monthly editions, NGHT.

Electro-pop duo GRRL PAL are late contenders for one of the most exciting acts of 2014. Their unique electro-pop blend has taken the internet by storm, and their latest track NGHT is a glitchy upbeat slice of dreamy electro pop that I just can't get enough of!

After a recent stint in the US and working with PARKER IGHILE, who has previously worked with RIHANNA and NICKI MINAJGRRL PAL have come back with a promise of releasing a track a month. First cab off the rank was their November edition with Paradise, and saw the duo really start to get a name for themselves. Whatever popularity they had from that song has definitely been solidified with December's NGHT. Think PURITY RING if they started hanging out with GRIMES in a bedroom.

The combination of dreamy, light vocals and dynamic and lively production is well and truly pulled off with NGHT. The accompanying clip sees a combination of slow motion and sped up footage of the duo just jumping around a front yard or sitting on a couch. The juxtaposition of slow motion jumping/running and sped up scene of them just sitting around is really clever and adds to the incredibly fun nature of the track.

Both tracks they've released are an refined extension of the sounds they were producing last year with their track Amazon. Perhaps it was they venture to the US that really sparked their future pop fire? Whatever they did over there, they definitely need to keep doing it!

GRRL PAL is taking the futuristic pop sounds that are slowly emerging and combining it with their own brand of electro pop sensibilities. If next month's track anything like Paradise and NGHT, we can't wait to hear what they've still got in store!
