Live Review: WATCH: Gotye 'Easy Way Out'

Gotye's new music video 'Easy Way Out' may just be better than 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Don't believe us? See for yourself!

The video clip for GOTYE's hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know' has been one of the most watched and parodied clips of 2011, nominated for and winning awards and acclaim aplenty. So when we say that his latest video clip, 'Easy Way Out' may be even better, you know it has to be good.

Directed by Melbournian Darcy Prendergast and the team at Oh Yeah Wow - the same dudes responsible for 'Somebody That I Used To Know', 'Easy Way Out' has a lighter Tim Burton-esque feel to it. Featuring GOTYE in stop-motion, the camera circles through his day, from the sirens as he awakens, to the paper fires melting his home and finally to the animated blood spatters as stop-motion-GOTYE bangs his head against his laptop in frustration. It sounds gruesome - but done in animation, it comes off as eerily cute.
