Melbourne audio-visual duo friendships have announced their arrival at CMJ in true friendships style with one hell of a clip for 'P2M//DSK'.
Just before Melbourne audio-visual duo FRIENDSHIPS touched down in New York City last week for CMJ, they took it upon themselves to announce their arrival in a way only they can pull off - by releasing one of the most artistically whacked out videos clips we've seen in quite some time.
Providing the visual component for their previously released double single 'P2M//DSK' aka 'Pedal To The Medal' and ‘Ded Soun Konduktah’, friendships have only amplified the animalistic, industrial rave track that is borderline assaulting in it's delivery. Created by one half of the duo, Misha Grace, the clip features actual paintings by Grace as well as the incredibly fluid movement by Jessie Tokumbo Oshodi.
Cramming the two tracks into the one clip, you're forgiven for feeling a little overwhelmed by the experience. Hypnotic in it's visual and aural assault, friendships reel you in and don't let go from the first second. Ferocious, formidable and politically charged, we can pretty much guarantee you won't be able to find another act doing what these two are doing right now.

Although Misha's out of action after an accident (get well soon, Mish!) Nic is taking CMJ by storm solo. Australian friendships fans can catch their incredible live show in action at this year's Paradise Music Festival next month, or join the rest of the country in hoping they bring their show on the road. Until then, this will do us just fine.
