For Life have put out a video for their track 'Blue's Journey' which is part of their debut EP, Blue's Journey.

The production is an 80's retro styled electronic sound but with a modern twist. The classic sounding synths are mixed in with more modern effects and production techniques, but the nostalgia factor is still there. Running synth basslines with drum machines and a smorgasbord of other sounds make this a perfect track to listen to driving at night. It's clear that For Life had a vision in mind when they did this track alongside this video and the extra thought definitely shows in the finished product.

For Life worked with Neil Harvey & Patrick Santamaria for Babekuhl to create the visuals for the track. It deals with a future Sydney after the effects of  lock-outs, rising property prices and gentrification have driven out most of the young people from the city. The cinematography is to be admired, each shot is rich in colour and movement that complements the soundtrack.

Although it predicts a rather bleak future for what was once such a vibrant city, they have to be admired for grappling with their reality to create something this special. Truly impressive, we've now got For Life well and truly on our radar, and can't wait for more.
